Just south of the Grampian Mountains, Taymouth Castle is a unique golf and sport club community that encompasses 7,775 majestic acres of Perthshire County’s rolling green mountains, lush pastures, and glistening waterways that provide endless adventures.
Unmatched by any Discovery community thus far, Taymouth Castle stands as a prominent landmark in the picturesque Scottish countryside. Situated right at the southern tip of the Highlands, the castle, originally built in the 19th century, towers above the remnants of its predecessor from 1550. Every bit as magnificent as the castle are its 1000-acre grounds. Redesigned several times over the years, the grounds are framed by the sprightly River Tay, forests of Redwoods and verdant mountains that stretch lengths of the property.

Originally designed by five-time Open Champion James Braid in 1925, the Taymouth course provides golfers of all ages and skill sets with a challenging round complemented by dramatic mountain ranges and the famous Loch Tay. With more than 500 golf venues across the country, it’s safe to say there is something for every golfer in Scotland.
